I really want to do a student exchange during half term for one week. So how can I get a student exchange to france for just one week?

If there is an Alliance Francaise in your city, contact them. Otherwise google them near you and get in touch with them about this. They may be able to help you. you either go there for half a semester or a full.

Most of the agencies won't even handle you if you plan on only going for a week.

You have to AT LEAST go for half a semester. September-December.
