How do i exchange files on computers on school lan?

I want to send my friend a game which is not present in his computer. We dont have internet access, but only lan. These are f*ing pentium 3 win 98 machines and i cannot find remote desktop or net meeting even after a great search.

in network neighbourhood, no computers show up and i get a permission denied msg. Do i need to login to an administrator account? And how do i exchange files across computers? Any dos stuff etc?How do i exchange files on computers on school lan?You would need to be a site administrator to change any settings. There are no services like remote desktop, or net meeting on 98. Even if there were, the administrators would have turned these off. And any attempt to do anything which is blocked will result in a log file being sent to the administrator. How do i exchange files on computers on school lan?If your not the ADMIN of the machine or have a admin log in account than forget it.

You need to set up share folder on your machine but the protocol (File sharing) is probably not installed on the machine and for that you need admin rights.
