How do you upload a house to the sims exchange in the sims 3?

ok. i want to up load a house to the exchange but i dont know how..

please make a step by step list. and i also want to have a different picture then what it might show, if you get what im trying to say please tell me how!

oh and also the house i want to upload has sims living in it now. will they be in it if someone uploads it because i dont want that to happen.

I'm not sure how to make a custom picture for your lot.

To put it on the exchange:

1. Go to 'edit town'.

2. Select the lot you want to upload, and there is a button you can click to put in on your sims game launcher.

3. Exit the game.

4. In the game launcher, go to Uploads and your lot should be there.

5. Click the button to upload it to the exchange.
