I signed up for the 2 movies unlimited mailing and 5 in store exchanges.



-When I exchange the movie in store do they need me to sign up for a blockbuster Store membership?



-Will my new dvd be shipped out only if I return the dvd I exchanged?



-Is it well tracked?How does the new blockbuster in store exchange exactly work?take your driver's license, they need to make an account for you in store none of the info online they can see in store so they can't even tell if you eve have the online program, how many rentals you get free, or even what movies you have from the online program its all separate.



all you have to do it take your online envelope with correct movie inside and the barcode acts like a coupon for a free movie rental. after you get your 5 in store movies free it will charge $2 for anymore in store rentals you exchange your envelopes for.



your next online movie wont be sent until you return the in store movie. the in store movie you can't exchange for another movies its just a regular rental.



its is tracked very well but there have been a lot of problems in the past but hopefully it stays in the past it sounds complicated but believe me its much easier to understand when you start renting dont be afraid to ask the employees any questionsHow does the new blockbuster in store exchange exactly work?aight dude

1. you will probibly need to do a little form to get the card you need, but since they have most of your information online it'll be quick.

2. you take the movie to the store and rent another, then the next movie will be shipped after you return the rented movie. It didn't use to be like that but hey things change.

3. it's tracked, once they scan the envelope there is a message that gets sent to the central movie place about your return. they prep your next movie and ship it once you return the rented movie. You get emails about how they got such and such a movie and such and such movie is sent.



pretty much it's a simple program they got going, only once or twice did we not get a movie, we sent a email and they just went down the list of our movies.
